The following standards have been set by the Special Projects Committee regarding grant recipients:
- Priority will be given to military veterans requesting to be a Guardian.
- Priority will be given to first time Honor Flight participants.
- Applicant must be a PAN member in good standing for at least one year.
- Applicant must be between the ages of 18-70.
- Applicant must be able to physically assist their veteran and be willing to walk long distances, push veteran in a wheelchair, experience possible heat, cold, or wetness, and support a 20+ hour day including two flights.
- Applicant may NOT be the spouse/significant other of a requested veteran.
- Applicant must be willing to complete and submit a signed application to Honor Flight of West Central Florida.
- Should there be more than 2 qualified applicants, priority will be based on the submission date of the PAN Guardian Application.
